Bârsan Ghiţă
He performs a sustained research activity in the field of modeling military capabilities and elaborating decision aids. He is a member of the Advanced Distributed Learning Working Group, PfP Consortium of Defense Academies and Security Studies Institutes Geneva, Switzerland and of the Romanian-American work group commissioned with the development of the Strategic Plan for Implementing Modeling and Simulation Techniques in the Romanian Army and participated at a great number of research projects and contracts (obtained by competition) being either project manager, or member of the research team. In this project, he will be responsible for: optimizing JTRS specific organizational capabilities; implementing algorithms for assigning resources to JTRS systems, with applications in standardized environments; estimating interoperability and standardization requirements of the tactical communications system elements and the architecture; management tasks.
Miclăuş Simona
She has thoroughly studied the domain of high frequency electromagnetic fields. She participated at a series of research projects (obtained by competition), being either project manager, or member of the research team. She is involved in collaboration activities with foreign research centers on the issue of electromagnetic compatibility. In this project, she will be responsible for: studying the electromagnetic radiation in complex propagation environments for JTRS specific sources of emission; development of algorithms regarding the spatial location of emission sources in order to protect the personnel from damaging radiations; proposing recommendations regarding the standards regulating the exposure of personnel to JTRS specific radiation sources; management tasks.
Cracsner Edmond
As chief of the Military Psychological Department of the General Staff, he coordinated and participated at the elaboration of directives regulating the activity of the department he manages and the psychologists employed by the Department of Defense. He wrote the study Stress and Psychological Support in Modern Military Operations as member of the international military work group Human Factors & Medicine (HFM) 081 Research & Technology Task Group (RTG) 020 (HFM 081 RTG 020). In this project, he will be responsible for: estimating the interoperability requirements regarding the profiles of some personnel categories of the military communication systems structures; experimentation, standardization and validation of psychological tests for the selection and psychological training of the human component of the military system.
