Objective

To identify available and potential development capabilities of the National Defence System of Communications, to strengthen cooperation between specialists and to develop sustainable partnerships in the field of emergency situations.

Participants

• Teaching staff from the Military Technical Academy, Bucharest, the Technical University, Cluj-Napoca, the Training Centre for Communications and Information and the Land Forces Academy

• Communications specialists from the Service of Special Telecommunications and from private sectors (Interactive SBC, Bucharest) .

• European standards for emergency communications. Special telecommunications systems provided by the Service of Special Telecommunications to ensure national emergency communications.

• A solution regarding the IT&C system for the management of local emergency situations.

• Implementation of wireless networks in hybrid access transmission environments.

• The TETRA radio communications system – the communications platform common to all the institutions involved in the management of national emergency situations.

• Security of communications systems.

• SDR wave forms.
