The Office of Modeling and Simulation in support to Training, Research, and Experimentation (OMSTRE)

OMSTRE endowment:

• the Modeling & Simulation (M&S) Lab equipped with constructive simulation system JCATS (Joint Conflict and Tactical Simulation)
• the M&S Lab equipped with virtual simulation system VBS (Virtual Battlespace)
• M&S and C2 software and applications

The main lines of effort within OMSTRE field of responsibility:

• carrying out the activities related to: didactic support specific to M&S curriculum area; planning, organizing and executing of the training thru simulation exercises
• ssupport in the field of scientific research activities and carrying out of the research projects (within M&S office) specific to/related to M&S domain
• carrying out the experimentation activities (within M&S office) specific to/related to M&S domain
