The Faculty of Military Sciences manages study programs accredited by the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, agreed by the Ministry of Defense and approved by the Ministry of National Education and Scientific Research. Bachelor’s degree graduates acquire professional skills specific to the command officers for the following branches/ military specialties: Infantry, Mountain Troops, Reconnaissance, Military Police, Paratroopers, Artillery and Missiles, Tanks, Transportation, Engineering, CBRN Defense, Defense Intelligence. Master’s and postgraduate degree graduates acquire professional skills specific to the military and civilian specializations from different fields of activity. The scientific research is conducted in areas of interest for the Romanian Army and for “Nicolae Balcescu” Land Forces Academy.
