Problem Solving and Critical Thinking Common Module

The module proposes to provide keys for reading and interpreting real scenarios to allow cadets and all participants to solve complex problems in the area of security and defense. The teaching provides digital skills in the use of a computing environment to approach the complexity of reference models.
At the end of the teaching and individual study, students are expected to be able to:

• Formulate problems arising from real situations
  
• Describe and distinguish different types of data
  
• Develop creative strategies and procedures to solve problems
  
• Critically treat and discuss proposed solutions
  
• Discuss and critically evaluate the implications arising from the analysis of advanced mathematical models
  
• Acquire autonomous skills in solving problems in the field of security and defense
  
• Develop critical thinking in the context of discussing decision-making choices following the analysis of mathematical models in the field of security and defense
