HAPPY NATIONAL DAY, ROMANIA!
On the occasion of the 106th anniversary of the Great Union of Alba Iulia on December 1, 1918, Nicolae Bălcescu Land Forces Academy of Sibiu, along with military structures from the Sibiu garrison, participated today in military ceremonies for the laying of wreaths and floral tributes at the Governing Council and the Monument to the Soldier of All Times, located in front of the Military Circle. These activities were organized by the Prefecture of Sibiu County, Sibiu County Council, Sibiu City Hall, and local public authorities, in collaboration with the Metropolitanate of Ardeal, Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu, and other structures within the national defense, public order, and national security system in Sibiu County.
Similar commemorative events also took place on November 29-30 at the Heroes’ Monuments in the localities of Boița, Hamba, and Șura Mare, Sibiu County.
