LFA Contributes to the Implementation of SQF-MILOF in Europe
At the beginning of this month, Col. Assoc. Prof. Lucian Ispas, PhD, Vice-Rector (Vice-Rector for Academics) of Nicolae Balcescu Land Forces Academy of Sibiu and President of the Executive Implementation Group for the EU Sectoral Qualifications Framework for the Military Officer Profession (SQF-MILOF), along with Asst. Prof. Alin Bodescu, PhD, faculty member of our institution, participated as a keynote speaker and facilitator, respectively, at the SQF-MILOF Familiarisation Course.
Organized by the Centre for Advanced Defence Studies in Madrid, Spain, under the auspices of the European Security and Defence College, the course aimed to familiarize competent personnel from EU member states and institutions with the SQF-MILOF Package by discussing national implementation strategies. Additionally, the course sought to provide fundamental skills necessary for standardizing selected national military qualifications in accordance with SQF-MILOF and the Core Curriculum for Military Officers.
