LFA Student on Elie Wiesel Study Tour 2024
This fall, Cadet Staff Sergeant Patricia Barte?, president of "M.G. Nicolae Uscoi" Cadet Corps, was selected to participate in the 7th edition of the "Elie Wiesel Study Tour".
The program, funded by the Embassy of the United States in Romania, the Polish Institute in Bucharest, the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Romania and the Embassy of the State of Israel in Romania, offered scholarships for 15 selected students from universities in our country.
Through the schedueled visits to the Elie Wiesel Memorial House, Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum Complex, Schindler's Factory, the Jewish quarters in Budapest and Krakow, the participants had the opportunity to become aware of the impact of the political, social and cultural forces of the undemocratic regimes that created and perpetuated the Holocaust.
