Students' Autumn in Sibiu University Center
For first-year students, the start of the academic year represents much more than just a new chapter in their lives. For those in their second, third, or fourth year, it marks the natural and continuous progression of the educational journey they embarked on when they chose to pursue university studies.
The event titled "Students' Autumn" was held today, September 30. Transilvania Hall in Sibiu was filled with students and faculty members from Nicolae Balcescu Land Forces Academy and Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu, who came together to celebrate the opening of the 2024-2025 academic year.
"Dear students, I encourage you to approach this new beginning with confidence and determination, as it is full of challenges and opportunities. Being a student is just the first step on a long and often difficult path, requiring energy, perseverance, and above all, a strong desire for self-improvement. It is up to each of you to take full advantage of the opportunities offered by the institutions you have chosen- places where knowledge meets creativity and innovation, and where you have the chance to develop your skills and reach your full potential to build a successful career. Academic excellence, moral integrity, and the desire to excel are fundamental aspects of both civilian and military education." These were the words of BG Prof. Eng. Ghi?a Bârsan, PhD, Rector of Nicolae Balcescu Land Forces Academy, during his speech at the event.
