COMMANDER OF THE LAND FORCES OF FINLAND, VISITING LFA
Today, September 24, LTG. Pasi Tapio Välimäki, the commander of the Finnish Land Forces, visited “Nicolae Bălcescu” Land Forces Academy of Sibiu at the invitation of LTG. Ciprian Marin, the Chief of Staff of the Romanian Land Forces.
The event began with the information briefing of the commandant of the academy, BG Prof.Eng. Ghiţă Bârsan, PhD and continued with the presentation of the academic infrastructure in which the training process of commanding officers for the Land Forces and for other beneficiaries from the national defence system, public order and national security takes place.
“It was a privilege to visit the academy. Educate the future leaders of the Romanian Land Forces. I hope you achieve great success in this very significant assignment. Always forward!” noted LTG. Pasi Tapio Välimäki in the Guest Book of “Nicolae Bălcescu” Land Forces Academy of Sibiu, at the end of the activity.
