"Researchers' Night" - The Most Spectacular Autumn Event Dedicated to Science
The fascinating universe of science, research, and innovation was unveiled in an original, interactive, and accessible way to the public during the Researchers' Night, an event organized by "Nicolae Balcescu" Land Forces Academy in Sibiu, in partnership with "Lucian Blaga" University of Sibiu.
Our institution was present at the Military Circle in Sibiu with a variety of exhibition stands featuring military robots, drones, modern chemical detection and nuclear control equipment, as well as devices related to the electromagnetic spectrum, communications, and information technology.
Visitors also had the opportunity to see equipment used in amateur radio activities, training tools, replicas of real weaponry, technical systems for simulating military actions, and technological demonstrators for force training. Additionally, emergency intervention equipment from ISU (Inspectorate for Emergency Situations), along with various electronic devices and circuits, were showcased.
The event was also a great opportunity for our students to highlight their research activities and achievements in various fields.
This year's programme once again featured interactive workshops promoting the English language through the English is Fun project, as well as a historical journey led by members of the Castrum Novis Association from Sibiu, which uniquely showcases the history of the Roman Empire.
