AFT hosts the IT Summer School
Today, July 8, 2024, the opening of the IT Summer School event took place, an alternative education program, part of the Tech Trail: Craft Your IT Journey initiative, hosted by "Nicolae Bălcescu" Land Forces Academy of Sibiu, between July 8-12, 2024..
At IT Summer School, a project carried out by Sibiu IT Cluster and co-financed by Sibiu City Hall, pupils and students passionate about technology, aged between 16 and 23, from the municipality of Sibiu enrolled, free of charge.
During the five days, the participants will have the opportunity to discover a community where the topics covered will be related to topics such as artificial intelligence, cyber security and how they can be used to create a sustainable future, but also to meet people who are equally passionate about IT or discover news about what is happening in this field, locally or globally.
Prepared to provide a complete learning and development experience, some of the best IT professionals in Sibiu will present, in open sessions or interactive workshops, the types of artificial intelligence, its uses and applications, OpenAI, ChatGPT, myths, benefits, risks, perspectives and ideas about the future, notions, introductory methods, risks and solutions of cyber security, but also knowledge about sustainability, the theme that connects all the topics covered these days and that has the role of making students and pupils aware of the opportunities, options, challenges and the impact IT can have on the world we live in.
