As part of the “Leaders for Leaders” Project, the “Nicolae Bălcescu” Land Forces Academy of Sibiu, had, for the second time, BG (in reserve) Hans Damen, a veteran of the Royal Netherlands Army, who lectured on “Challenges of Western Military Logistics Capabilities in the Context of the Ukrainian War”.
An exceptional officer with an impressive military career of more than 40 years in the field of defense, the Dutch general highlighted, during the lecture, the fact that nations should put more effort into procurement, military mobility, the supply chain, pre-positioning of defense stocks and industry in a multinational and collective framework to meet the needs of NATO forces in operational time.
