Military Leadership Module

From 15 to 26 April, the Military Leadership Module was held at “Nicolae Bălcescu” Land Forces Academy of Sibiu, attended by Romanian cadets from the second year of studies, specialising in Military Leadership, and students from partner military educational institutions from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Greece, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Republic of Moldova, Portugal, Spain, the USA and Ukraine.

During the module, the students had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the particularities of leadership and of the decision-making process in the military organization, and to practically apply decision-making procedures. During the module, the foreign students participated, for the first time, in the Cadet 2024 tactical exercise, having the opportunity to apply in practice the theoretical aspects of planning, leading and conducting military actions under the conditions of the current operational environment.

Also, between April 16-18, a team from the International Defence Training Army in Great Britain, consisting of Maj. Peter White, Maj. Charles Edmund Frederick Russell and Maj. José Manuel Garcia White, carried out teaching activities during which they shared their experience and presented the students to the Combat Estimate process, a specific decision-making process developed by the British Army.
