CANADIAN PARLIAMENTARY DELEGATION VISITS LFA
On Friday, 8 March, a Canadian parliamentary delegation conducted a fact-finding visit to “Nicolae Bălcescu” Land Forces Academy in Sibiu, facilitated by Embassy Connections Canada. This organization supports ambassadors in their efforts to establish connections in the political, economic, and cultural spheres by participating in events where they can promote their country’s culture and values.
The delegation, comprising Canadian MPs, authors, artists, representatives from the diplomatic corps, as well as associations, foundations, and international organizations such as Embassy Connections Canada, Primacorp Ventures, Great Commission Foundation, The Canadian Parliamentary Spouses Association, Alpha Course Association, Military Ministry International Romania, and Embassy Connections Association, visited with the aim of gathering information about the teaching process and research, development, and innovation activities at “Nicolae Bălcescu” Land Forces Academy in Sibiu.
Canadian MPs Marc Dalton and Kevin Vuong, part of the delegation, are former professional military personnel in Canada who currently lecture on NATO-related topics in various international forums such as The Aspen Institute, The Royal Commonwealth Society, and The Royal Society of Art.
