Personal and professional development within the Erasmus+ programme
“Nicolae Bălcescu” Land Forces Academy of Sibiu continues its mission of internationalization of the educational process, hosting the 6th edition of the International Semester that takes place between March 04-June 15, 2024.
This year, 41 cadets from our partner universities, such as: the Theresan Military Academy, Wiener Neustadt, Austria; Royal Military Academy, Brussels, Belgium; University of Defence, Brno, Czech Republic; Hellenic Army Academy, Athens, Greece; ”General Jonas Žemaitis” Military Academy, Vilnius, Lithuania; “Alexandru cel Bun” Military University of Armed Forces, Chișinău, Republic of Moldova; War Studies University, Warsaw, Poland; General Military Academy, Zaragoza, Spain; University of North Georgia, Atlanta, USA and “Taras Shevchenko” National University, Kyiv, Ukraine, participate in this activity.
In the academy, there are also ten students from “Vasil Levksi” National Military University Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria; “Georgi Benkovski” Air Force Academy, Pleven, Bulgaria and “General Tadeusz Kosciuszko” Military University of Land Forces, Wroclaw, Poland who are carrying out internships within the Erasmus+ programme in the spring semester.
At the same time, this academic year, 118 students from our institution will experience international exchange within the Erasmus+ Programme in the Theresan Military Academy, Wiener Neustadt, Austria; Royal Military Academy, Brussels, Belgium; “Vasil Levksi” National Military University, Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria; “Georgi Benkovski” Air Force Academy, Pleven, Bulgaria; “G.S. Rakovski” National Defence College National Defence College, Sofia, Bulgaria; University of Defence, Brno, Czech Republic; University of Engineering, Limoges, France; Hellenic Army Academy, Athens, Greece; University of Studies, Turin, Italy; National Defence Academy, Riga, Latvia; “General Jonas Žemaitis” Military Academy, Vilnius, Lithuania; “General Tadeusz Kosciuszko” Military University of Land Forces, Wroclaw, Poland; Military University of Technology, Warsaw, Poland; War Studies University, Warsaw, Poland; University of Law and Administration, Rzeszów, Poland; Military Academy, Lisbon, Portugal and Armed Forces Academy of “General Milan Rastislav Stefánik”, Liptovsky Mikulas, Slovakia.
