From January 29 to February 3, 2024, a delegation from “Nicolae Bălcescu” Land Forces Academy in Sibiu, consisting of Lt. Col. Prof. Paul Tudorache, PhD, Lt. Col. Assoc. Prof. Ionuț-Alin Cîrdei, PhD, Ms. Ramona-Elena Herman, and ten students from Military Leadership undergraduate program participated in the fifth transnational meeting (Transnational Project Meeting - TPM) and the second Learning, Teaching, Training (LTT) activity within the project “Interdisciplinary Education and Training on Hybrid Warfare.”
The event, organized by “General Milan Rastislav Stefánik” Armed Forces Academy in Liptovský Mikulás, Slovakia, provided students from “Nicolae Bălcescu” Land Forces Academy in Sibiu with the opportunity for an exchange of experience with peers from civilian universities. It also offered the chance to participate in a series of face-to-face seminars and to test modules on the MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) platform created by project members.
Moreover, they managed to grasp both theoretical and applied concepts related to hybrid warfare presented during the seminars. These sessions enabled the development of skills necessary for addressing a hybrid warfare scenario, focused on the interinstitutional response of their own capabilities in the event of a terrorist attack on a dam.
