LFA at Researchers’ Night 2023
“Nicolae Balcescu” Land Forces Academy in Sibiu, in partnership with “Lucian Blaga” University organized the event known for promoting science and researchers among the general public, suggestively entitled “Researchers’ Night.”
Our institution’s exhibition stands were located at the Sibiu Military Club where visitors were presented with modern chemical detection and nuclear control equipment, modern communications and information technology solutions, AIRSOFT tactical equipment, advanced military robotic technologies and technical systems for simulating military actions. Also, the chess players of the LFA Chess Club challenged visitors to a series of demonstration games.
As a novelty, this year, there were interactive activities dedicated to the promotion of the English language within the project “English is fun” and an incursion into history through members of the Castrum Novis Association from Sibiu, which promotes the history of the Roman Empire in a unique way.
