Student Orientation Week
Due to the high volume of activities they took part in and their novelty, the first week at "Nicolae Bălcescu" Land Forces Academy in Sibiu was particularly demanding for the first-year students.
The first hours of front-line training and the demonstrations of armaments and military methods came after learning the initial conduct guidelines specific to the military academic setting. They became familiar with the academic curriculum and logistical-didactic base and visited the Training Centre for Communications, Information Technology, and Cyber Defense.
They also witnessed the demonstration shooting that was organized by the military instructors in the automated firing range at Poplaca and carried out by their senior colleagues, together with troops from the Special Operations Forces and members of the Multinational Brigade South-East.
They will relocate to Perii Dăii firing range at the end of this week, where they will spend the next three weeks completing the military skills training module.
