Interdisciplinary Education and Training on Hybrid Warfare Project
As part of the international research project Interdisciplinary Education and Training on Hybrid Warfare, on 09 May 2023, between 10:00 and 13:00, at the "Nicolae Balcescu" Land Forces Academy of Sibiu, the first multiplier event was held within the five multiplier events planned for the project.
The main objectives pursued during the event were summarized as: generating discussions on hybrid warfare developments and implications for the EU, promoting hybrid warfare reference curriculum and teaching methodology for education, training and simulation on hybrid warfare, discussing the potentials in using massive open online course (MOOC), motivating students to enroll in Hybrid Warfare elective course.
The event was attended by subject matter experts, as well as students and academic staff from the "Nicolae Balcescu" Land Forces Academy, the "Carol I" National Defense University, the "Lucian Blaga" University of Sibiu, as well as from other national and international institutions that were interested in education and training on hybrid warfare. In addition to the extremely challenging issues, the event was also highlighted by the great diversity and the large participation of the educational with 85 students, staff and specialists taking part in physical format, and 130 online.
