The 50th Implementation Group Meeting of the European Initiative for the Exchange of Military Young Officers
Representatives of the "Nicolae Balcescu" Land Forces Academy in Sibiu participated between 22.06 - 25.06.2021 in the 50th Meeting of the Implementation Group within the European Initiative for the Exchange of Military Young Officers. The event was hosted by the “Henri Coandă” Air Force Academy in Brasov and was attended by 58 participants from 14 European countries.
During the event, the commander of the "Nicolae Balcescu" Land Forces Academy in Sibiu was nominated as an Honorary Member of the Implementation Group, for the unconditional support regarding internationalization and commitment shown over the years regarding the fulfillment of the objectives of the European Initiative for the Exchange of Military Young Officers.
During this meeting, it was reiterated once again the importance of cooperation between military higher education institutions in the European Union, by organizing international semesters, training modules or other types of activities with international participation, through which military students will acquire skills and aptitudes necessary for their careers as European officers.
