Francophonie - a bridge to new cultural horizons
Within the activities of the French Language Scientific Circle, offered to the students of the "Nicolae Balcescu" Land Forces Academy in Sibiu and led by Assist. Prof. Daniela Duralia, Mr. Jerôme Cochand, French lecturer, representative of the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) was invited for a lecture in which he presented a new vision about the French-speaking world which our country is part of.
Mr Jerôme Cochand highlighted the benefits of Francophone member countries and the importance of knowing the French language, a tool used to increase multicultural awareness. This approach was also beneficial to complete the context created during the classes taught on the subject of Francophone Culture and Civilization. Moreover, this activity encouraged and motivated the military students to continue studying French for a better understanding of European cultural diversity.
