LFA students awarded at the non-literary translation competition organized by "Lucian Blaga" University from Sibiu
On December 13, 15 students of the Land Forces Academy responded to the invitation launched by the Department of Anglo-American and German Studies to participate in a non-literary translation competition organized by the Faculty of Letters and Arts of "Lucian Blaga" University of Sibiu. The competition challenged our students with the translation of a non-literary text which they selected from the contest package. During this activity, the cadets were accompanied by 1st degree teacher Isabela Dragomir and Assist.Prof. Brandusa Niculescu, PhD. Our students returned home with the 1st prize, awarded to CADET CORPORAL Tudor Cotta, and with the 3rd prize, obtained by CADET CORPORAL Dragos Voicu, both 2nd year cadets. CADET MASTER SERGEANT Livia Barsan and CADET SERGEANT Paul Nicolaev, both 3rd year students, were also given special mentions. "I was extremely honored to represent the Land Forces Academy at this competition and I was part of a unique experience that I will never forget", remarked CADET CORPORAL Tudor Cotta, 1st prize winner.
