Between 9-16 November, LTC Laviniu Bojor, PhD and Cadet SGM Livia Barsan participated in the International Cadet Week organized by the University of North Georgia Institute for Leadership and Strategic Studies and the U.S. Army War College Strategic Studies Institute.
During the International Week, hosted by the University of North Georgia, Atlanta, USA, Cadet SGM Livia Barsan, together with 12 other cadets from South Africa, Argentina, the Czech Republic, South Korea, Estonia, Georgia, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Poland, Taiwan and Hungary, attended the courses of the American colleagues, participated in demonstrative military exercises within The Ranger Course, located at the Fort Benning military base, carried out firings with compressed air weaponry and strengthened her techniques of crossing obstacles through various climbing procedures. Our cadet also had moments of relaxation, participating along with international colleagues in the visits organized by the host university.
LTC Laviniu Bojor, PhD gave a lecture in the symposium “Soldier-Leaders in the Age of AI: The Future of Pre-Commissioning Education, “where the issue of the impact of technological changes was debated, highlighting how scientific and technological advancement will shape the operational environments of future military conflicts, the influence of advanced science and technology on the education and development of military leaders, and the impact of artificial intelligence and technology on the military decision-making process.
