THE DAY OF THE ROMANIAN ARMED FORCES
On Thursday, October 25, the military structures in the Sibiu garrison, in collaboration with the local public administration and the the Metropolitanate of Ardeal, will organize events dedicated to the anniversary of the Day of the Romanian Armed Forces.
The activities will start at 10.00 am, at the "Monument of the All-Time Soldier", placed in front of the Military Circle, with the Ceremony of laying wreaths and flowers dedicated to the anniversary of the Day of the Romanian Armed Forces. The participants could also visit a photo-documentary exhibition that was dedicated to the Day of the Romanian Armed Forces, an exhibition that will be open to the public until October 26. The activities dedicated to the Day of the Armed Forces will end at 7 p.m., when student detachments, learning in the Applications School for Communications, the Information and Cyber Defense Technology, cadets and the Military Band of the Land Forces Academy will perform a torch retreat on the following itinerary:
Heroes’ Monument in Dumbrava Forest - Calea Dumbrăvii - Nicolae Olahus, Sibiu Military Center – Scoala de inot Street – Justitiei street - Victoriei Avenue – Sibiu Military Circle - Vasile Milea Avenue – the Revolution Heroes’ Monument situated in front of the Culture House of Trade Unions - Vasile Milea Avenue - Revolution Street – Revolution Heroes’ Monument situated in front of the Sibiu Police Inspectorate - Revolution Heroes’ Monument of the "Nicolae Bălcescu" Land Forces Academy - "Nicolae Balcescu" Land Forces Academy
