Memorandum of Agreement between LFA and the National Defence Academy of Georgia
A delegation from "Nicolae Balcescu" Land Forces Academy, led by the Commandant of our institution, B. G. Prof. Eng. Ghita Barsan, PhD, paid a visit to “David Aghmashenebeli” National Defence Academy of Gori, in Georgia from September 18th to September 22nd.
The aim of the visit was to develop the collaborative relations started three years before, by identifying new opportunities to facilitate the exchange of students and young officers. The activity started with the briefing of the rector of “David Aghmashenebeli” National Defence Academy of Georgia, B.G. Prof. Malkhaz Makaradze, signing the Memorandum of Agreement on the academic cooperation between the two institutions and the visit of the Georgian cadet training facilities.
Subsequently, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Defence of Georgia, our delegation met with representatives from the College of Defence and with the Commandant of the Officer Training Center of the Military Base.
At the end of the visit, the representatives of our institution paid a visit to the “Delta” Research Center where its director presented part of the ongoing projects.
