Between July 7-20, the "Nicolae Balcescu" Land Forces Academy of Sibiu is organizing the fifth edition of the military training modules entitled "Survival in conditions of temporary isolation" and "Reconnaissance". These modules are part of the offer of international activities accessible at LFA as part of the European Initiative for the Exchange of Military Young Officers.
The Survival Module took place in the Crintu training camp between July 7-13. A number of 27 young officers (military instructors) and students from partner institutions from countries such as Bulgaria, Georgia, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Czech Republic, Republic of Moldova, and the USA participated in the module. 24 foreign participants from 9 partner institutions from Bulgaria, Georgia, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Republic of Moldova, and the USA are participating in the Recoinnasance module, organized in the shooting range in Daia, between July 14-20.
During the two weeks spent in the training camps, the foreign students will have the opportunity to interact with the LFA students and to learn and deepen combat techniques specific to fighting isolated conditions in forested mountainous terrain.
