FITS, FOR THE THIRD YEAR AT THE LAND FORCES ACADEMY
The "Nicolae Balcescu" Land Forces Academy is for the third consecutive year the host of some performances of the Sibiu International Theater Festival. On Saturday, June 15, the song "Country in My Heart" was interpreted on the stage of our institution's auditorium. Sofocle's Antigone, "Who Do You Think Decides What's Important and What Not?" is the challenge from which this autobiographical discovery starts, based on discussions between the artist and her younger brother. In "The Country in My Heart," the mythology of the Wild West and Ancient Greece merge into the theory of psychoanalysis and childhood memories.
The second play hosted by our institution was performed on Sunday, June 16. The play is entitled "Border Crossings", being a sad but comical approach, a surrealistic and exciting image of the imaginary boundaries in the world.
