In the 6th-17th period of May, the “Nicolae Balcescu” Land Forces Academy of Sibiu organized the Military Leadership Module within the framework of the European Migration Exchange Initiative Program for Young Officers (Emilyo), which addressed the cadets and students from the military institutions of higher education in the European space.
The module brought together cadets from the Royal Academy in Brussels, Belgium, the Croatian Defense Academy in Zagreb, Croatia, the School of Applied Military Studies, together with the University of Education in Turin, Italy, the “Alexandru cel Bun” Military Academy in Chisinau, the Moldova Republic, and the Hellenic Military Academy in Athens, Greece.
In addition to the academic activities, the foreign cadets joined the Romanian studentsin some cultural and social events. So, they had the opportunity to visit the Bran Castle and to know details about the history of the Romanian people.
“The Erasmus Cultural Evening”, an event organized by the “Major General Nicolae Uscoi” Cadets Corps in collaboration with the Erasmus + Programs and International Relations Office, represented another good opportunity for the international students to actively get involved by presenting songs, dancesand traditional or cultural customs to their colleagues.
