The Land Forces Academy participated in establishing a new record of Romania
The "Nicolae Balcescu" Land Forces Academy participated in October last year in establishing a new record of Romania: the biggest lesson of financial education in the world. Sibiu, through our institution and the "Lucian Blaga" University of Sibiu, joined the 25 other cities in the country that participated simultaneously in the "School of Money" program. The start was given at 10:30 and the teachers taught the military students how to manage their income.
The record was homologated on Thursday, November 1, by representatives of GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS, who were present in Romania in order to participate in the certification of the 13,230 attendees. For the validation of the record, the simultaneous participaticipation of at least 5,624 people was necessary, this being the number of participants recorded in 2013 by a similar initiative registered in the United States.
