THE DAY OF THE ROMANIAN ARMED FORCES
On Wednesday, October 25, in collaboration with the local public administration and the Metropolitan of Transylvania, during the centenary year, the military structures in the Sibiu garrison organized events dedicated to the anniversary of the Day of the Romanian Armed Forces - a fundamental institution of the Romanian state that significantly contributed to the creation of Modern Romania.
The activities started at the "Monument of the All-Time Soldier", placed in front of the Military Circle, with the Ceremony of laying wreaths and flowers dedicated to the anniversary of the Day of the Romanian Armed Forces. The participants could also visit a photo-documentary exhibition that was dedicated to the Day of the Romanian Armed Forces, an exhibition that will be open to the public until October 29.
The activities dedicated to the Day of the Armed Forces will end towards the evening when, from 7 o’clock p.m., the Land Forces Academy cadet detachments and Military Band will perform a torch retreat on whose itinerary the heroes' monuments in Sibiu are included.
