Asymmetry and the hybrid character of military actions and contemporary wars
The Department of Military Sciences within the Faculty of Military Sciences of the "Nicolae Balcescu" Land Forces Academy organized on Friday, March 23, a scientific event according to the research activities plan for 2018. As a form of organization, the event consisted in the round table discussion on the topic "Asymmetry and the hybrid character of military actions and contemporary wars".
During the debates moderated by Lt.col. Assoc.Prof. Lucian Ispas PhD, the Head of the Department of Military Sciences, the participants addressed topical issues regarding the characteristics of the hybrid conflict and its forms of manifestation, the impact of hybrid asymmetric actions on the contemporary security environment and possible ways to combat them, and courses of action for reducing specific vulnerabilities.
