This year’s edition brought together 57 scientific papers with 131 authors, representing 28 national and international institutions, including prestigious universities from Bulgaria, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Republic of Moldova, and the United States of America.
The conference was structured into two specialized panels:
In addition to the plenary sessions, the conference included a dynamic equipment exhibition and a poster display, covering thematic areas such as: robotics and autonomous systems, cybersecurity and communications, artificial intelligence and strategy, operational medicine and the human factor, aeronautics and space technology, logistics, and defense economics. Overall, the research presented highlighted the transition towards a defense model based on emerging and disruptive technologies, in which automation, data exploitation, and cyber resilience are becoming fundamental elements to national and international security.
An important academic outcome of the conference was the publication of the papers in the Acta Napocensis journal of the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, thereby enhancing the visibility and impact of the research results.
The success of this international event was supported by its official sponsors, S. CARFIL S.A. and Sibiu IT Cluster.
